Opening Day reflections towards B

Though it arrives a month late be not fooled this message has been burning upon my heart and brow each day since....

YouTube Video

As I watch my boy running with ball in left hand naked but a diaper and the little red bat in the right, I swell up proudly. But I can't help but think that this left handed deal is going to limit my man to just three possible positions with the outfield counting as one.

And then I think about the fact that if his arm is twice the strength of my arm that he would be at best a mediocre pitcher thus dwindling the options to 2 positions.

And then I think about the possibility of b growing up to be 6'3 250, which is now standard for first base, as I look at wifey then myself then wifey then myself then back to the wifey then I am again ready to eliminate yet another positioning option.

Finally then as I conclude that my son might be relegated to one positioning option .... I smile to know that this self argument and problem could only be brought about by one thing - opening day of baseball.

I thank the lord daily oh sweet baseball that you are again back in our lives. GO BRAVES.

And one for the road check this swing out....

5 Dog Sitting Adventures

Meet Lilly

Relaxing lying on the couch. Now enters Benjamin onto the scene.

YouTube Video

According to Cesar Milan, the dog whisperer that's right great guess, it's important to get your dogs exercise. As you can see b is great at this... Not only is Lilly getting a lil mini walk on but she is also having to exercise her will. B = 2nd generation of Cesar. You see Benjamin is training Lilly not to go after the ball thrown while on the leash otherwise the walker (himself) will certainly fall to be drug around and unwrapped by the several layers of lease wrapped around his body and through his legs. Although watching a kid do a flip because of a dog would be quite humorous unless it's your own child, b (little Cesar) is perfectly in control of the situation and the dog training for this family.

Here are a couple more videos just to show you what the joy of dog sitting can bring a 1 year and a house...and also his internship video I am sending nat geo.
